Cool to see how this child grows more and more conscious of her natural charm. She still finds a lot of fun in making faces each time I attempt pointing my camera at her. But every now and then I manage to catch a sign of that constant but carefully hidden transofrmation going on in her psyche. I mean I have been following this girl with my camera during her whole life and in a sense she has become my personal project, especially if I think that I have grown as a photographer in the meanwhile. Some of Olga's shots strike me by the way they mark the exact borderline between different dynamic states of her mind - lips bear a vage trace of a mischiveous smile, whilst her eyes are already serious and present. Indulging into the portret photography only makes sense when there is this sublime mental contact with your model. I realize now, that the meaning with photographing Olga for me actually extends the simple building of my family album.
